Noel Imbert Bouchard contributed to the writing of the work entitled « Man and the world » and here he introduces himself:
What has been your training until now ?
I studied at the Institute of Political studies at Strasbourg after which I continued my studies at the ENA (National School of Administration), all of which is fairly normal, but that which is less normal, is that I also studied theology.
What have been the high points in your professional journey?
I have been a ministerial cabinet councillor, the creator of a business, the general secretary of the Ecole de Mines (National School of Mining Engineering) at Paris and the Director of Tourism for the Reunion Isle; However, my most exciting professional experience has been that of promoting “Design Francais” by means of the business that I created and was head of, for several years.
What led you to be interested in transhumanism?
Transhumanism poses a fundamental anthropomorphic problem. For the first time in history, man is able to break free of his own nature, history and culture. Instead of having to submit to the process of evolution, he can become its producer until he causes himself to disappear. In a way, the pinnacle of his evolution will be to have caused his own disappearance. Having become a virtual being man will be nothing more than a programme himself, no different from any other. Babel will finally become a reality! Thus, it is imperative to think about transhumanism.
