Founded in 2011, the Académie des Métiers d’Art is a private higher educational institution.

A modern, forward-looking institution, the AMA offers formations from CAP to Bachelor, but also less traditional offerings such as marketing, gemmology, technology, arts-based intellectual property law, communications, and others.

It is also developing an international network through cooperation with foreign institutions such as the Ecole de Gemmologie de Montréal in Canada. On graduation, AMA students are fully prepared for the contemporary job market.

The AMA is committed to increasing access to arts-based professions. In 2013, it founded the Association pour l’Education dans les Métiers d’Art [Association for Education in Arts-based Professions], which helps young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to access employment in the luxury industry. It has also created a unique and original programme “Transférer pour Préserver” that targets the leading luxury brands.
