OVERVIEW OF THE INSTITUTION

The New Bulgarian University (NBU) was founded in 1991. It is a private university in Sofia offering Bachelor, Masters and Doctorate degrees in various subjects.

The campus is located in the west of the city which is known for its proximity to Vitosha nature park. The university also owns a number of other buildings across the country, as well as its own publishing house and a library.
